COVID-19 Update

May 12th, 2021

Dear Ilarion Residents, Family and Friends,

As of April 2021  our facility was declared COVID-19 Free!

  • We are asking residents to tell their family and friends that only 2 consistent visitors are allowed per suite at this time.

  • You can also visit by using social media such as telephone, texting, or video calls.

        Ways residents protect themselves are:

  • Practice proper cough and sneezing etiquette. Sneeze into the bend of your elbow. If you are using a tissue, discard the tissue immediately into a plastic bag lined garbage can. Wash your hands.

  • Wash your hands often with soap and water: if soap and water are not available, use at least a 60% alcohol-based hand sanitizer.

  • When you wash your hands, make sure your wash then thoroughly (in-between fingers, etc.) for at least 20 seconds. 20 seconds is like singing the Happy Birthday song twice.

  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands.

  • Prepare food with washed hands and wash your produce.

  • Avoid close contact with people that are sick.

  • Avoid unnecessary outings.

  • Avoid large crowds and practice social distancing.

  • Do not shake hands, hug or kiss.

Contact the Healthline 811 if you have any of the following symptoms:

  • Fever, chills, runny nose, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, and breathing difficulties.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      Please inform Ilarion Residence if you get infected with COVID-19 so we can protect others.
